A Little History....

The International MOMS Club® began in 1983 when Mary James, an at home mother in California, decided she was tired of being alone at home with her children all the time. She wanted to meet other at home mothers and she wanted to find other children for her children to play with. It was then that she discovered there were no organizations that met during the day, that would welcome her, her preschooler and her infant. Being a resourceful at home mom, she started an organization that would fill that need, and the MOMS Club® was born.

Her idea was so successful, that despite changes in demographics, the economy and the fluctuating numbers of at home moms, our organization has continued to flourish.

Welcome to the MOMS Club® of Killingly, CT, located in the "quiet corner" of the nutmeg state.

We are a chapter of the International MOMS Club®, a nonprofit organization specifically designed for at-home mothers everywhere. We are the first, largest and fastest growing support group designed just for you, the at-home mother of today!  We are part of a network with more than 2,000 chapters and more than 100,000 members throughout the United States and Internationally. 

The MOMS Club® of Killingly is a wonderful way to meet other at-home moms who share your interests and concerns.  The MOMS Club® stands for MOMS Offering Moms Support and that's exactly what we do -- come together to support and encourage each other.  We include mothers of all ages, as well as those who work out of their homes or work part-time.

Our club offers a variety of different activities each month, scheduled during the day, for you and your children.  We also have activities just for Moms to share with each other or just have fun.  We hold monthly members meetings once per month and frequently have guest speakers.  We participate in a variety of service projects which benefit our community.
